Quiet the Mind

If you're carrying something heavy — a trauma that still shows up in your body, obsessive thoughts that have started taking over your life, or a quieter, harder-to-name sense that you've built a life that doesn't quite feel like yours — you don't have to keep holding it on your own.

About

I'm a Licensed Psychotherapist in NYS. I primarily work with adults navigating trauma, OCD, and the deeper existential questions — who am I, what gives my life meaning, and how do I live in a way that feels true.

My approach is inquisitive, analytical, and direct, and it weaves together two things that don't always live in the same room: evidence-based methods like Prolonged Exposure for PTSD, Exposure Response Prevention for OCD, trauma-focused CBT, and ACT, and existential therapy that takes the larger questions seriously.

Symptoms matter, and so does meaning. I help clients work on both.

Who I Work With

You might be a good fit if you're carrying something heavy:

  • PTSD - A traumatic experience that still shows up in your body, your sleep, or your relationships

  • OCD - Intrusive thoughts or compulsions that have started taking over your life

  • Existential Questions - purpose, meaning, or identity

  • Sessions in English and Chinese 中文. I work with bicultural clients who have struggled to find a therapist who can meet them in the right language — both literally and emotionally.

  • Prolonged Exposure (PE) for PTSD

  • Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD

  • Existential therapy — work on meaning, purpose, identity, and authenticity

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Fees & Insurance

My rate is $250 for a 45 min virtual session.

I'm out-of-network with all insurance and provide superbills monthly.

I partner with Mentaya to make reimbursement automatic for clients with OON benefits. Most PPO plans cover a meaningful portion of out-of-network mental health care once your deductible is met.
